Recommend me a good Project Management software!

I need something to organize projects and daily tasks in my office [for 5 people].
I've seen a couple of things which look great, but need real recommendation from real users.

Thanks in advance!!!

Peace,

Matyko

I got a free Membership at this place, so I've been using it for school and a short film project I am working on.

Yea I used to use that with 250+ employees, might be a bit overkill for 5 people though.

Right now we use OnTime. I think it's free.

Thank You All, they all look good, need to research and test them further. basecamp was recommended by others in the past but for first glance it looked complicated.. keep them coming: if you're using one that you like or dislike, pls explain in a nutshell, could be useful for lots of ppl here!

www.5pmweb.com is good for people who find BaseCamp a bit confusing.

JIRA

Everything else is vastly inferior.

No seriously.

For 5 people it's ideal.

It's 10 bucks for a 10 person license. Spend another 10 bucks on Confluence and another 10 bucks on Greenhopper.

And then $60/mo for a server to host it on... or host locally in the office.

And don't look back. Worth every penny.

One of the things that I find useful in researching project management software, that I'm not seeing a lot of, is where those recommendations are coming from.

Are you a content company using PMS that recommends software A?
Are you a traffic generation / affiliate company that recommends software B?
Do you develop pay sites and recommend software C?

etc....

From the chatter, BaseCamp seems most popular amongst the GFY crowd (a diverse crowd at that).

From those of you that use BaseCamp - what type of projects/business do you manage with it?

We switched from basecamp to jira and I'm very happy with it.

We use it for system development, bug tracking, wish lists, and feature requests.

It seems more simple to use over basecamp but more powerfull and cheaper.
