    Credit Unions in Austin TX

    Can anyone recommend a good credit union in Austin, TX?

    I'm looking for all of the basics. Online banking, free checking, multiple locations... I think that's about it, ha.

    Any tips are appreciated.

          Although I am not in Austin, everything you are looking for in a banking solution should be available at any Credit Union you go to. I left BofA for a Credit Union, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

              Yeh, I like CUs. Was hoping to get a recommendation.

                      University Federal Credit Union has locations all over town and A Plus Federal Credit Union is used by a friend who really likes it. They always seem to take care of her.

                                                  Had UFCU while I was at UT, but now only use BOA and Austin Telco.

                                                  Of the credit unions in town, Austin Telco is by far the best. Just used them for my newest auto loan and the rates couldn't be touched by anyone in the country
