We did not have much time to carve a good pumpkin but I made up for it by:
1. Soaking a roll of toilet paper in kerosine
2. Lighting it on fire with a long stick
We scared a few kids away and others would not leave
.
After a while we left and just put the bowl of candy out and let the kids trick or treat on the honor system. To our amazement there was still some candy left in the bowl when we got home. We scored 2 big bags of candy tonight. Here I am giving a random homeowner's dog some lovin after it dared yap at me.

We had 3, the other 2 were cut similar but a few inches smaller... here in the UK, they sell loads of smaller pumpkins & now munchkins too!
