here's where I get shit dumped on me: I view Obama like Hitler in that he had no experience and was able to use new media to get elected and is a great speaker... Hitler was the first guy to travel to several cities a day with a plane and give speeches thus broadening his appeal to the masses.
Obama did this with the internet, just like JFK was the first president to get elected off TV. people don't seem to remember that is was not a landslide vote for JFK and that Nikon came across poorly on the TV debates while on paper he came across as a more popular...

richard, let me give you a piece of advice as both an employer and successful business owner for the last 25 years of my life.
I, like many other business owners here, don't really pay that much attention to the hundreds of posters on this board. However, you're one of the few who stand out. Sadly, its not for anything good. As far as I can tell, you're a job hopper jumping from low level job to low level job as each employer discovers your actual worth in this business. You take shots at potential future employers and equals to your current employer. This may make you a hero of the trolls here but it does nothing good for your future here.
None of us think your shtick is interesting or intelligent. In fact, with every post you make, you decrease the likelihood that you'll continue to work in this business as you expose your deficient mind for all to see.
If you look at the actions of those employees who've been employed long term, you'll note that NONE of them act the way you do.
I know you think you're incredibly intelligent but that is just not born out by your station in life. You're one or two hops from your last stop here and if you don't carefully reconsider your actions and the way they're perceived, you'll end up as a 30something, out of work, porn slinger looking for work in a very tight mainstream job market.
The only question will be whether or not you make a "I'm taking an opportunity in mainstream" post or simply disappear one day.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

I think that, if Mitt Romney is the nominee, Obama is toast because some Democrats who are not happy with Obama will vote for Romney... believe it or not... flip flopping can be a great general election strategy... it has worked for every President in recent memory.

Here is the reality... we have 2 parties right now, and one of them will win in 2012.
Does it suck? Of course, but it is what it is, at least as far as the 2012 elections go.
So you have a few options...
1) vote D
2) vote R
3) vote for someone who doesn't have a chance
4) don't vote at all (same thing as number 3)
So everyone can say there is no difference, and both parties are the same, etc... but in 2012 a president will get elected, and it will be a D or an R, so like it or not, that's where we are.
So the question remains, who will the R's run against Obama, and what makes you think he or she stands a chance of beating him?Comment

I will be the first one to admit I am not rich... but I am not an asshole either... and I would rather be a me than him.
I sincerely doubt that anyone who shows such disrespect to people he doesn't know has that many great friends... he probably has a lot of associates and people who are trying to get something from him. I have a lot of rich friends... and none of them are assholes.
I have made a lot of money at times in my life... I have made a lot of mistakes in my life... I have had a lot of business failures and some successes... I got right back up and moved on to the next thing... I will continue to do the same thing for as long as I live... move on to whatever is next... even if I end up wealthy... I will never put down anyone else because they aren't. Money doesn't make anyone better than anyone else... it just means they have more money. As long as my bills get paid on time every month, that defines success for me. As much as Obama has been a complete and utter FAIL, none of the GOP candidates really excite me either. Ron Paul is looking better than before. There are things to likes about him. I had started to like Cain. He's very much not a typical politician, but he's said some dumb things lately.
Given that we're all tired of the same old politicians and we're all tired of the FAIL that has been the last four years under Bush and Obama, I put the best odds on yhe guy who a) isn't a career politician and b) has actually successfully accomplished things. When he had the house and the senate, the economy was suffering and he pushed Obama care, when he lost the house, he didn't get the hint that the people were pissed, so now his big pushes are more stimulus money, more college loan reform and mortgage reform, things he has already done, I just want the unemployment numbers to go down.
I don't expect everyone to loathe what he does, I just love to hear the excuses from his loyal followers as to why things are the way they are today!
And yes, the left is mad when he gave into some of the gop's demands, UM, democracy means he's suppose to do that, those GOP people represent part of the country that votes, many have forgotten that.
