Daytona Biketoberfest and I've Got Pics - GoFuckYourself.com

The annual bike events in Daytona are one of my favorite things to photograph. There's so many people with creativity
and style its hard not to get an interesting image.
They just had Biketoberfest and I managed to get a few pics during the afternoons I spent there.

Here's a few images to give you an idea as to what you might see at a Daytona Biker event

I spent most of my time somewhere on Main Street where all the action is.

I've been going as a spectator for the past 20 years while some have been Bikers all their life.

Of course you are bound to see the stereotypical Bad Boys but......

.....you'll see a lot of the weekend Biker types as well which is fine by me.

Everyone has one thing in common and that's to feel the wind in your face.

When I need a break I head over to see my favorite bartender, Sam.

Along with the bikes you'll see a lot of nice vehicles like this old truck or this....

......new Lamborghini Gallardo. There is just that much variety.

Whatever their style they sure put on their best and this guy was straight up Pimpin.

There is something about a girl on a badass bike that always gets my attention.

Bike designs and builds are very cool to check out whether they're showing team support or......

....building on a budget. Every single one is a marvel in design, engineering and creativity.

The bike events inject a lot of money into the local economy so the locals don't mind the extra traffic.

So many people are there and every couple seems to have a unique style.

Its one big party and even I can have a shot with the Rock Star girl

Don't you hate it when the shots wear off and your passenger really looks like this.

When I see a girl like this I'm curious as to why she picked this particular bike design.

The Angel 1 thru 5 9/11 tribute Camaros made an inspiring pass down Main Street.

The bodies were wrapped with the names of all those that perished on 9/11

They sure got everyone's attention and stopped so everyone could get a picture.

I think weight would be a huge deciding factor as well but then again I saw a few women riding around on those Boss Hogs

I guess what has me wondering is her choice in handlebars and the riding position it puts her in. It must have a different feel than lower ones.

My early days, quite often.

I will never forget the time I took this chick for a ride on my 1942 45". No front fender (extended front end) and a short, bobbed rear fender. She wore a nice white angora sweater. At the end of the day she had a nice black stripe up her back from road grime and oil being tossed off the rear chain.

The bike yes but theres nothing easy about manipulating a bike with ape hanger handlebars.

I rode a yamaha 250 MX once back in 1980 and that's the extent of my experience

With that being said, it looks to me that since her arms are fully extended to reach the grips while going straight, it would really be a stretch for the opposite arm when going into a turn. Way different if you had bars that allowed a bend at the elbow.

On a side note, on Main Street they have to back their bikes in to park at the curb and some of those custom bikes require about a twelve point turn because of their turning radius. I bet a lot of them couldn't do a U-turn in the two lane street

Picked out a few more to help round out the selection

As a photographer I look for style and color and this guy had it right down to the flowers in the median.

According to FL law, this is how all girls must ride or at least thats what I told them.

There's aways a great mix of jaw dropping cars and motorcycles like this beautiful Camaro and...

.....this awesome bike on a budget. It really doesn't matter what you drive like this...

massive $250,000 pickup truck as long as.....

.....you don't look stupid.

I don't know what this girl was doing but she doesn't have the....

....ass or mixer to ride on this spectacular Jack Daniels bike.

I wonder if people thought the first guy to put a V8 in a bike was crazy.

Something about her makes her stand out from being just another face in the crowd.

Like a dog matches his owner this guy matches his bike.

Bikers get a bad rap and I only saw one guy that was on a Highway to Hell.

Seriously, I've been going for the past 20 years and these two are the closest I've come to seeing someone go to jail.

And for all those that were hoping to see Sam's ass again, I dug up this pic from a past Miss Bike Week contest.
