Im actually quite surprised that the girl scouts had that reply.

Recall several times when guys wanted in the GS but were denied but girls were taken into the Boy scouts.

Being Transgendered must be a total mindfuck. Feel sorry the Fates have done this to them. I'm sure at some point he'll have surgery. Wonder what's the legal age to change? Unless the video said it was a boy, I couldn't tell.

I once went to Girl Scout camp, when I was 5. My neighbor went to get his 10-year-old daughter. They heard there was a boy in the car, I got tickled & teased by a bunch of crazed girls. No matter how hard you try, you can't get under a car seat to hide.

most likely he'll grow out of it. today, everyone wants to label a kid like this as transgender or whatever but back even 10-15 years ago people would of just looked at it as a phase that will pass, and most parents wouldn't encourage it either. i don't know, i am all for gay rights and all but i see some parents encouraging their kids to be gay and i really don't understand that.

How very strange.

I have a friend of mine who has a ten year old daughter. The girl acts and talks like a boy. She wears boys underwear, has boy toys, and takes karate after school. The mother, my friend, allows it and allowed it from day one. Not much they can do.

As for the Girl Scouts, I understand their position perfectly. My wife is heavily involved in our kid's youth league; In fact, she's in charge of it. If they had a boy that wanted to be a cheerleader the amount of problems it would cause would be huge. It's one thing to respects the rights of this kid, but it would be another thing to have two thirds of the kids pull out of the sports team because a boy wants to be a cheerleader - or even a girl wanting to be a football player.

in the uk i think lads can be 'brownies' which is the girls version, or it may be girls can join the scouts. i forget which way round.

why would it be a problem if a boy wanted to be a chearleadser or a girl play football?

we are suposed to be in an age were people are equall.

to be honest in the uk, i do not understand why girls play in seperate teams to lads inb uk football.

besides in usa football, they were helmits and so much padding that you could not tell if somone ws male or female.

and if that lad wants to dressw asa a girl and be in the girl guids, so what. he probably is more of a girl than the girls in the girl scouts.

by the way, those boots look flat, no heel to me.

my dentist wears them, and she is on her feet all day, so i guess they are comfy.

I think it's interesting that the Girl Scouts accepts lesbians and transgender males (that present themselves as female) but boyscouts doesn't allow "open" homosexuals.

I enjoyed the cubscouts and boyscouts. Sexuality never came to mind or was discussed. Is it a more important issue these days?
