Potheads, do you take a tolerance break?

Been vaping most evenings for the past six months and am using like 6 times what I used to and it is not the same quality of high and seems to only last an hour before I need to hit it again.

I'm gonna try a week off and see how that goes. From what I read some say you really need months off to go back to normal otherwise you quickly go back to your high tolerance again after a short break.

I hear people say that, but I really can't see how it matters. It's still THC build up and desensitized receptors that cause tolerance as I understand

The idea would be to rotate the cannabinoids.

For instance Marinol is the name brand of synthetic THC [delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol], that is only "THC". The use of a synthetic in this case would require other synthesized cannabinoids to match the actual effects of natural cannabis.

This is because there are over 400 active cannabinoids, so different cultivars or "strains" can definitely switch it up.

If you can stop for a few weeks or months, you're not a real pot head. And hats off to you! I believe I was stoned every day for five years straight. That's not a good thing. That was many years ago now. I leave it alone now so that other people have some to smoke.

I take a break to fast once a month. Other than that, mix it up...

Also, save your leftover vape, because as others have said, there is quite a range of cannabinoids, and many are still present in leftover vape material.

The easiest thing to do is save it up and dump it into a batch of brownies, and it can produce a steady week of delicious edibles, that produce a various nice vibe (I call it a "foundation", lol).

Have to agree with this. So many people I know that just smoke all day every day like it's a part of living, stopping to them is like an intervention on life, it doesn't interfere with their life in any way at all. They go out and do their errands high as a kite and don't skip a beat. But me, I can't even work high. If I'm going to smoke I need something chill to occupy my time afterward like a nice movie.
