Cookies are old-school (someone said that here at GFY-- QFT!), their effectiveness is severely limited by the new browser "privacy (porn) mode" settings.

In case you have not figured out why this tool could work to your advantage -- let me enlighten you; One of the biggest obstacles to an affiliate's success in this adult industry is getting their site visitors to click thru to their sponsor's site and that the affiliate somehow will make bank on their referral's purchases.

At ACWM we do use a referral return cookie for the affiliate that in theory lasts for 10 years. However "in the wild," this return cookie might help the affiliate in some cases but you can't rely on these cookies being there -- they get deleted or are accepted "session only" -- that means when the browser closes bye-bye cookie and any rev-share from new future purchases.

This is where the Registration API comes into play and will make you money. When a customer uses the tool to register for a free member account at XloveCam the newly registered customer is tied to your affiliate account in our customer database. Now and for as long as that customer buys -- you will receive credit and the rev-share for all of his future purchases. Even better, in most situations we can tell that a customer is a previous customer and continue to pay the originating affiliate referrer the rev-share he is entitled to -- this includes ALL sites including white labels. Lifetime means Lifetime and we will always try to keep our agreement with you.

I have made a working demo similar to what an affiliate might make -- its URL is http://www.acwm.biz/files/RegistrationAPI/index.html it's just an idea to get you started. You can view source and get some ideas of how I constructed it, then compare it to the example in the /client/ page for the tool's code.

This Registration API could be in iframe on your website, as a PHP include or made as part of a squeeze page to funnel your referral traffic to our web cam site.

We though it best to leave it up to you how to build the tool -- 100 candles are brighter than 1 they say ... You can get creative with this and it will not be like many other affiliate tools -- duplicate content -- something to be avoided as the mighty Google hates "thin affiliates." (Google that term if you are not familiar with it.)
