RFID Cat Door?

Right now we have 2 cats, one we both adopted who is black and just spends all day fucking around and the other is my wife's that her ex got her when they were together. the cat is scared of his own shadow and does nothing but piss all over my house  Of course, my wife wont give him up and hes to scared to go outside when I accidentally "leave the door open" so I'm trying to find a way to lock him up without being in a cage and I think this might be the answer. We have a pet door now that goes on our basement door and allows the cats to go down and do their business, but this looks like I will be able to keep him down there and let the good cat (my cat) roam free through the house
