Fucking brilliant. We are mad about everything, so let's cause the local police to spend $100k on a fucking police van. As if our local governments aren't strapped enough for cash.

Local police here, had a special DWI van about 15 years ago. Every Friday night, people got the breath test. Van had test equipment & audio/video for court.
City told officers, wreck this costly van, you pay the repairs. Last week it was used.
I quote from a gal I worked with, whose husband was on the DWI team. He asked for immediate transfer as they & 2 children would have had to gone on welfare if he fucked up.
