I think you are right. If someone is owed a lot they should consider going after them legally. I see one person here already considering it. But don't forget that even if it's only a couple hundred dollars there are still other ways to make someone pay. You just cause them many times more problems in publicity with their other ventures to the point where it would have been far cheaper to simply pay you.
Personally if I really had the money I'd rather pay what I owed to my ex-affiliates as opposed to having to deal with a bunch of angry webmasters shadowing me for the next ten years and trying to sabotage my future ventures. Trying to save three months worth of rebills and the last payments with this as the price would be a fool's bargain.
In this case if they really have the money I hope they will reconsider. Especially if the reason they are doing this has to do with getting some very bad advice from someone.

It is not <2005 anymore... The days that they made 5-12 sales per day are over now!
A good day will be 5 but an average one will be 1-2...
This kind of sites does not sell anymore.
Offcourse they should pay their affiliates but Biggy has explained why this is not the case. If it should be profitable they should have kept the affiliate program. But it is very difficult to get sales nowadays so they decided to stop the affiliate program.
I would never do biz with the owners (Melissa + Shane). I dont' like the idea to get screwed in the ass and the affiliates are getting screwed but for how much? 6? 9? 50? ok that is too much but keep going on with the work and keep in mind to do not anymore biz with Melissa and Shane
The site will still get some sales from typeins but it will be dead soon.
Just pull your links (as asked by Biggy) and keep on working on other projects!

I was also just saying thanks for the good times I had when promoting her years back when I was still a small fish in the adult pond. Was one of the first programs I ever started pushing I think. Nothing but respect to Biggy, guy seems to know his shit quite well and I admire that.Comment

2) Melissa + Shane + Biggy (Where is the transparency, the opening of nats, the screen shots of account balances and rebills, or all of the other things Biggy could do for the affiliates besides come here and give bullshit excuses?)

you don't know what you're talking about. solo girl sites still sell. not 50 sales a day anymore but 5-12 - in my sleep.
my 5 year old solo site still hits 5 sales a day off and on which is why i say Melissa's site is still making Shane decent money. Unless for some reason Melissa's site doesn't have the staying power mine does - could be, the site i'm talking about is more 'teenie' than Melissa's so maybe that helps. i don't know.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. Melissa and boyfriend obviously threw you under the bus. What i don't understand is, why are you protecting them? Especially with you being owed the most?
You should be releasing addresses and numbers for the affiliates who find the need to file small claims. Business is business and any affiliate that is owe money has the right to file claim.
They're obviously out of the business and won't be seen again, so fuck it....what's there to protect exactly?? What are you trying to salvage with them? Doesn't make sense.
