I had always thought that the stats on compete were per day not per month. If that is wrong then yes those figures are off (and they are also way off for my own sites according to what compete thinks, extremely low). I had not considered the FHGs either until he stated that but without really knowing the percentage which goes where it's hard to say.It's 150K uniques/month, not /day. Which corresponds pretty well with their Alexa rank of about 70000, 3-5K uniques/day is about right for that kinda rank.
From program owner's perspective, I believe those figures that Biggy gave you are about right. That site is definitely doing less than 5 joins/day, most likely 2-3 new joins/day on average. Like them or not, those figures are accurate.
150K/day is almost unheard of for a paysite nowadays, let alone solo girl site. If they had that amount of traffic, no way they'd be closing shop.
If they aren't even doing 4,800 to the tour then yes it makes a lot more sense.

In thinking about it this part really bothers me. Not the issue of whether I am an affiliate but the issue of whether it is over $100. What the fuck does that matter? If I shoplift an item from the store is okay as long as it is worth under $100. Stealing is stealing. If you owe an affiliate money, man up and pay them the money.
