i doubt that Melissa wrote that - i've seen Melissa's twitter and she's been out of porn and on with her life for a good while. probably her husband/ex-husband, i forget if they're still together.
if they are shutting the site down that's one thing, she's free to do that. if they're keeping the site up and just stopping affiliate payments that's just bullshit shadiness.
i have a solo girl site, DawsonMiller, i didn't have half, hell maybe not even a quarter of the content on Dawson that Melissa has and i think Dawson was about half as successful as Melissa in her best years. Dawson STILL makes 3-3500 profit month in month out, 12 months ago it was 4K a month profit. Old galleries and a few sites who still promote her as an active site. So my estimate is that Melissa's site still would be making somewhere between 7-10K a month from rebills and new sales.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!Comment

Shit like this just pisses me off.
I have a tiny amount owed but that isn't the point, she should have stuck to ccbill and therefore not had the problems of having to pay any affiliates.
Can't see the point in closing up shop - surely sales are still coming in on a regular basis - unless of course the plan is to simply steal the money from affiliates from now on in. I would assume yes... they are still going to have sales coming in and no one in the right mind would just turn away free money... if they are keeping the rebills they should at least pay out everyone, even the affiliates under the minimum payout...
IMO people have been good to that program and helped them make money, why not show the same respect... that's what I would do for the people who helped me make money... just my
