I thought it was just me. I had one site, around since 2001, drop by 67% overnight. Several of my other sites also fell but that was my biggest drop on the 14th.

my html sites grew, naturallyvoluptuous is getting 70 percent se traffic and digitaldivasonline.com is getting 67 percent se. NV is 400k U.S. alexa and DDO is 300+K alexa right now with only internal linking, no promotion per se. Just inside my network.

Dont worry too much at the moment about this, Matt Cutts issued a weather report on this about 2 weeks ago, things will go up and down in the serps over the next few weeks before settling down...then you can get an idea where your at. If your still having problems after that, look at your websites pathways for the fix. Best of Luck.Comment

I get 18 of those results as porn for Lesbian Sex....but....the point im trying to make here is that the change has not yet taken place, there still in experimental stage, that is what im saying. There is a pattern that has been developing if people have been watching closely. I warned people of Panda 8 months before it happened and got blasted, but in the end I was right. Now, lets come back in 12 months from the date of this and see what has happened. By then im guessing that the porn ratio will be much lower or even none at all. I could be wrong, hope I am.Comment

Agreed with you on that. Lesbian is a term that does not belong to porn. But if we went back 2 years ago that term was dominated by porn. I guess that is what I meant to say. So we see a turn around here on the term. Its not algo, its a manual intervention and that is interesting to note.Comment

Now, if we have a look at this image it shows us a little about how google makes an algorithm change. It usually starts with an idea from one of their Engineers, then the idea gets implemented on a test page. From that the test page and the current serp page is sent to a group of testers. These testers are not employed by google and are all over the world and of different backgrounds, etc. If google get some positive feedback on the test page it moves to the next step of a live experiment...this is where a small percentage of the population get to see the test page. And this is what is happening with adult right now...its in this stage. 99.9999% of people are still getting the regular serps...but this very very small test group of the population are being tested on serps with little porn. If the feedback is what google is looking for, it eventually goes live, United States first. Panda is a learning machine algo...so it will taker several years. And that is exactly one of the reasons they will ditch porn...because the revenue from porn is peanuts compared to mainstream. So if someone types in Lesbian and porn comes up in the serps...then the advertising revenue from adsense is much much lower then if someone types in Lesbian and mainstream websites show in the serps, because those mainstream ads are often bringing in 5 to 10 times more revenue on that keyword then porn ads revenue.Comment

If you feel my theory is wrong thats fine, then debate it, put forward some logical and mathematical reasons why. Im happy to discuss things in a civil way. There are a lot of people who have been hurt by panda, they come here to discuss the algorithm, not listen to people post abuse such as what you were doing.
You feel you understand Panda, ok, lets have a closer look here....My opinion is that initial trigger for Panda is based on the percentage of actual click-backs returning to Google, for phase A, on the target website of at least X size, with Y amount of content on target page [ content sub variables T, W] , and on a page level, the page having properties of P, Q, l in some combination.

There are problems with your website and what your doing, there not major, you can fix them easy enough. But until you fix them, you wont recover.
Let me know about the above dates first and we can move forward from there.

Another thing, if your website was hit by Panda, then learn direct the guy who the idea it came from, Google Fellow Biswanath Panda. As you can see Panda was actually named after him. Now this guy is a real genius, just the sort of guy google likes. You ever remember those math problems that google use to plaster on those high rise bill boards? They use to stick them on the side of a busy highway. If you had the answer you could phone google and be in line for a top job. The wannabe types would need to make a copy, go home and research it, etc and maybe a week later take a guess at the answer, but the real smart guys knew the answer in a glance...and thats the type of guys that google employs...they see things fast n easy...see the stuff that no-one else can see. Biswanath Panda is real smart...a genius. Now he wrote a paper called, “PLANET: Massively Parallel Learning of Tree Ensembles with MapReduce“. I own numerous gay niche blogs and took a big hit on the 14th as well. Everyone of them took a 20% - 40% hit. I lost a few keywords but mostly just slipped position four or five spots. I really have no idea why every one of my blogs was affected.Comment
