Im the source. You can work it out from long term study of their algorithm pattern. Their already testing in little patches here n there over time. For example, ive seen test patterns where for terms such as gay or lesbian, all adult disappears and only educational websites on those topics appear with the 1 to 100 serp range. This is the start and it will move from there. Your website will still be listed, but somewhere so far back in the serps it will never be found. When the Panda first rolled out in Febuary a lot of people were singing googles praises....or should I say those that did not get hit in the first panda were big noting themselves...ive since seen plenty of those same people get their websites wiped out in further panda updates. There has been a lot of heavy discussion on this over at webmasterworld....notice the pattern of that discussion since the first Panda in Febuary? In those days anyone who had their website wiped by google was blamed and bad mouthed as though it was their fault. The google ass lickers were out in force. But as more updates arrived and more people got slaughtered people have finally woke up to what the fuck is going on. Most of those google ass lickers have since had their websites wiped and lost their homes. Very few survive...but their days are numbered.

Here is a example of how Google are slowly removing porn from their serps.

First, go to Bing and type in Lesbian....of the first 20 results I get 14 that are porn related.

Now go to Google and type in Lesbian....Of the first 20 results only 1 result which comes in at number 11 is slightly adult related....and take a very very close look at that...because its fucking Youtube...a Google owned business. This same trend is slowly happening all over the google serps. Within 2 years at current trend rates, the only adult related terms that will appear anywhere within the first 100 serps will be youtube. Now you think about that, google sending all those adult searches to youtube....thats billions in advertising revenue to google. The smart adult webmasters are already working a youtube presense, but eventually adult will need to pay to be on youtube. You dont have to be a rocket scientist to see what is happening here.

Thats why we have to link to eachother :thumbsup, that made the world wide web. Because you could click thru all the link to virtual every page in the world and even google Page Rank was created for that.
Only relying on google is very easy and as you pointed out useless in the future.

Hopefully then surfers searching for porn will soon start switching to Yahoo and other search engines. Google might attempt to block porn from search results but it won't stop the surfer attempting to sniff it out.

I thought it was just me. I had one site, around since 2001, drop by 67% overnight. Several of my other sites also fell but that was my biggest drop on the 14th.

Looking back at stats, almost all longtail search traffic is gone...people on the mainstream boards are fucking pissed

there was panda 2.5 update a few days ago.

my html sites grew, naturallyvoluptuous is getting 70 percent se traffic and digitaldivasonline.com is getting 67 percent se. NV is 400k U.S. alexa and DDO is 300+K alexa right now with only internal linking, no promotion per se. Just inside my network.

the css based sites took a hit. fuck it, i am going to stick with the html shell for now.

Dont worry too much at the moment about this, Matt Cutts issued a weather report on this about 2 weeks ago, things will go up and down in the serps over the next few weeks before settling down...then you can get an idea where your at. If your still having problems after that, look at your websites pathways for the fix. Best of Luck.

I get 18 of those results as porn for Lesbian Sex....but....the point im trying to make here is that the change has not yet taken place, there still in experimental stage, that is what im saying. There is a pattern that has been developing if people have been watching closely. I warned people of Panda 8 months before it happened and got blasted, but in the end I was right. Now, lets come back in 12 months from the date of this and see what has happened. By then im guessing that the porn ratio will be much lower or even none at all. I could be wrong, hope I am.

Agreed with you on that. Lesbian is a term that does not belong to porn. But if we went back 2 years ago that term was dominated by porn. I guess that is what I meant to say. So we see a turn around here on the term. Its not algo, its a manual intervention and that is interesting to note.

Now, if we have a look at this image it shows us a little about how google makes an algorithm change. It usually starts with an idea from one of their Engineers, then the idea gets implemented on a test page. From that the test page and the current serp page is sent to a group of testers. These testers are not employed by google and are all over the world and of different backgrounds, etc. If google get some positive feedback on the test page it moves to the next step of a live experiment...this is where a small percentage of the population get to see the test page. And this is what is happening with adult right now...its in this stage. 99.9999% of people are still getting the regular serps...but this very very small test group of the population are being tested on serps with little porn. If the feedback is what google is looking for, it eventually goes live, United States first. Panda is a learning machine algo...so it will taker several years. So the change to porn in the serps will take a number of years, but its already happening. There is a slow phase out..a reduction lets say.

Right, google is on a crusade to make porn sites disappear from the serps. The adwords revenue that porn searches generate is chump change to them, so they're just gonna go ahead and ditch it.

Makes perfect sense to me.

Several months ago my site that was on first or second page on google, went under 500th place. Also some blogs, which means, that devastated me then and I've never recovered.

And that is exactly one of the reasons they will ditch porn...because the revenue from porn is peanuts compared to mainstream. So if someone types in Lesbian and porn comes up in the serps...then the advertising revenue from adsense is much much lower then if someone types in Lesbian and mainstream websites show in the serps, because those mainstream ads are often bringing in 5 to 10 times more revenue on that keyword then porn ads revenue.

It's pretty scary how Google can take away your income over a night. :/ Some of my sites got hit too, mostly blackhat-sites so it's no biggie but the traffic seem to come back slowly.

Do you have an exact date on when this happened? It will help explain exactly what happened.

It is scary but that's why you don't want to rely on Google too much. If Google provides more than about 25% of your traffic (or sales) to a site it's a disaster waiting to happen.

If you feel my theory is wrong thats fine, then debate it, put forward some logical and mathematical reasons why. Im happy to discuss things in a civil way. There are a lot of people who have been hurt by panda, they come here to discuss the algorithm, not listen to people post abuse such as what you were doing.

You feel you understand Panda, ok, lets have a closer look here....My opinion is that initial trigger for Panda is based on the percentage of actual click-backs returning to Google, for phase A, on the target website of at least X size, with Y amount of content on target page [ content sub variables T, W] , and on a page level, the page having properties of P, Q, l in some combination.
