3D Porn (with glasses) comes and goes in this biz, years back there was a (and I use this term LIGHTLY) Boom and many companies launched sites and programs, after a few months although the sites remained the 'buzz' wore off and people forgot about them.
Few years later another 'boom' and more sites and programs pop up (or out lol) and the same thing happens.
Then just last year there was another boom and now we're seeing the same thing that happened in the past, the buzz wears off and the programs and sites slip off most people's radar.
I'll agree it is a novelty BUT it's NOT a "fad" (as called in other threads over the years) it can't be a fad, because by deff a fad is a popular short lived type thing but 3D Porn has been around in some way shape or form for decades!
As someone pointed out here, it's future. joking or not that IS true!
Right now there are too many 'issues' when it comes to internet 3D Porn, customers either do not have access to the glasses, studios use diff types of 3D therefore creating the need for many diff kinds of glasses (red/blue red/green yellow/? shutter etc) this just created confusion for the customers.
Another issue is that IF the site supplies the glasses, you're expecting the customer to pay you now, AND give you access to their home address, then wait for you to send them the needed glasses, there's 3 red flags just in that lol.
I've said this for YEARS, and I'll say it again, In order for 3D Porn (glasses) to WORK in this industry ALL programs/sites need to follow the same formula...
1) Provide a DVD WITH GLASSES with the first month's membership, then offer new DVD's for X extra per month
2) Provide the customer with NON PORN related links for them to buy the needed glasses OR how they can make their own glasses
3) clearly specify if the content was shot in 3D or converted to 3D from a standard 2D format, in the past most companies were just upconverting 2D - 3D and there is deff a diff in effect and quality.
4) (This will prolly never happen lol) Everyone choose ONE TYPE of glasses, so that the customers don't have to have 4-5 diff types of glasses in order to view all the content.
There's more, but those 4 are the biggest ones.

Don't be fool - 3D is a future without any doubht.As I mentioned above I do some 3D shots for 1 client and got some experiences.Beside that I have visited several workshops by Sony and others.The huge companies like Sony , LG ,Toshiba invest incredible money in development of the 3D segment.
Everything is gonna be in 3D in no time - true is that right now there are few obstacles for end-users but its gonna be solved for sure.
Don't forget that there are already some products which doesn't need any glasses (toshiba released thier laptop few months ago) and it will go on.Comment

In Holland, when films are released both in 2D and 3D, most people choose for the 2D version.
3D is a hype, apart from the glasses it makes you tired because your brain has to convert the colored images back into one proper image. During breaks in de cinemas people don't go eat a snack, they stay in their chairs, taking a nap lol
The screens that don't require glasses aren't a solution either because you have to stay on one fixed position all the time. You can't bend forward to get your beer, you can't bend to the left to grab your cat. Watching movies or porn is supposed to be relaxing.
