Diabolical Masquerade.

Fucking right. Halfway through the first track and cant get enough. Haunted House shit, love it. Sawing guitars over scratchy growling black vocals, awesome. Groove, crunch and evil. Killer.

I like the cold stuff, eerie with dark solitude type stuff. 'Foggy running-through-a-maze metal' hahaha. Cheesier the better.

The Ancient Drive stuff is good too, I like it. I only grabbed 2 as I got sidetracked by the DM, but i dig that sound as well, anything big and creepy. Black Orgies (listening now) Dark and thunderous, nice. I like that big german dark army sound hahah I really like melodic death like 'Dark Tranquility' etc... as well as the intimate riff oriented breaks and eery piano of Ancient Drive etc... (Now Playing Carnal Perversion) - I see what ya mean, hooked already. Melodic and catchy. I dig these 2 so far so good.

Wow, im into Diabolical Masquerade track 3 now, still awesome hasnt lost my attention yet at all. Asray within the coffinwood mill is great, as welll. 3 deep and love it.

This DM track 3 (Ravenclaw) is great man, this folky fairytale ancient stuff into the metal rules, definitely going to jam this a lot this week. Captures everything good dark shit like this should be, awesome.

As you, im way into the open huge sounds these bands can get with digital quality sounds. Studios are so fucking equipped today that these bands can make such large productions its almost overkill, but why not go as far as one can? I love it when they do, the more 'epic' and 'quest' like the better, love the battlefield type quaking sounds behind these bands with killer lyrics and riffs, much more enthralling and intriguing aurally than ever before possible.

To The Seven

Again, outstanding. That slicing solid state razor blade guitar shit over pounding double bass mayhem, how can I not? Shit like 'To The Seven' makes me smile. Halfway through track one (To The Seven) now and its great, fast, reminds me a lot of Amon Amarth, love the guitar picking in the break on this one so far, so good.

I dig all three, Ancient Drive, To The Seven, and Diabolical Masquerade.
