                  That's always a good counterpoint to those Phelps freaks.

                  Thinking about it seriously, yep, several thousand years before refrigeration, shellfish was dangerous. The Old Testament says also that you are not to interfere if someone else wants to eat something "unclean". Two thousand years ago, Christ taught that it is not what goes INTO a person's mouth that really matters, but what comes OUT of his mouth.
