Hey guys,

I know a lot of you have tats so I figured GFY would be a good place to post this type question. A girl I know is looking for a tat of a butterfly with tribal around it on my lower back. If you know of any good web site URL's where they have artwork please let me know.

Go with something else. My sister has the same thing on her back. It's pretty sweet though. I always go thru Tattoo.com, it's like the Yahoo of tattoo sites.

The tribal stuff you do need a design for but why look through 'tattoo designs' for your girlfriend? Better by far just to find an image you/she like and then find an artist who can do it. I got heavy coverage with not one coming out of a tattoo flash art book.

Correct.....I don´t have any flash either....I search for a good
artist...in my case inia III and have him make a design. Especially
with Maori as it has cultural value it would be an insult not to
have something that fits the person. When the design is done
I look for an artist in my area which will apply my design.
again I talk to the designer to see if he knows someone in my
area. I was lucky and found a Maori artist who was traveling
Europe. I drove 240 miles to get there and had it done...

I´m very happy I did it this way....I have a true one off desing
and it was applied by a Maori artist who understands the ins
and outs of Moko tattoo art.
