LTE capable iPhone

Not until the middle of 2012 at the earliest. Keep an eye out on production of Qualcomm's MDM9615 chip. It is LTE voice enabled and will be the chip used. Qualcomm expects to release it in Q2 2012 which probably puts the iPhone5 release in Q3 2012.

The iPhone 4S does support HSDPA download speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps but that is not 4G. Then again, a lot of what is claimed as 4G is not 4G. The MDM9615 chip will be capable of 100 Mbps down & 50 Mbps up.

its "4G LTE" not "4G" which is what is on a number of other AT&T and Verizon phones. No device right now is really 4G

btw, the iPhone 4S does NOT have 4G LTE, someone from Apple told me this the other day

Samples of the MDM9615, MDM8215, WTR1605 and PM8018 are anticipated to be available in late 2011.
