i love this guy. His lambo crashes, & reason #1 on his list why the car is at fault is the screws on the engine cover are rusty.lets hope it doesn't end up like these: www.lambounfall.de

I haven't commented on that lambounfall site for a long time. It's been nearly 5 years that I have owned a Lamborghini and since then I have met hundreds of other owners. My car has not had a single issue since day one. Tires, and oil. I know people that have their Lambo's converted to twin turbo and are producing over 1000 hp and are reliable.
My issue with that site is the fact that there are cars from every make that have had problems. A few years ago a fellow I knew died in his CarreraGt. He had years of track experience and he simply lost control. I can show you pictures of Ferrari Enzo's that have crashed and burned.
Whether Xato's experience is accurate is still open to be debated, but the facts are his situation was very unique. You might not be as anonymous as you think you are.Comment

That site is kind of stupid. Pretty clear the guy is trying to sue over his wreck and he's obviously going out of his way trying to make it seem as if every crashed car is the manufacture's fault.lets hope it doesn't end up like these: www.lambounfall.de
People crash cars all the time and it's just about always driver error. It doesn't mean stuff can't break or there might be a bad design, but the guy is really stretching with most of his posts..In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.Comment

Well, you can still debate on some of the crashes, I admit that. However what you can not debate on is the frequency things go wrong with those cars. And no, I dont mean a higher percentage of crashes as such, which might be understandable when not everybody who can afford such a car is a skilled driver.I haven't commented on that lambounfall site for a long time. Still if you look at how many cars have been produced and how many burned down, this will give you a slight idea.
What can also not be debated is things like they forgot to tighten bolts with the Gallardo Superleggera. When the drive shaft comes loose and destorys oil pipes near it, I bet its not so funny anymore.
And what can also not be argued about is how they treat customers. Doesnt matter if Lamborghini or Audi. Customer service includes to deal with customers who have problems, even more if those problems are not their fault.
Audi/Lamborghini does everything they can to NOT care about customer service.
I am happy you didnt have any problems with your Gallardo as I still think they are beautiful cars. However I wouldnt ever want to sit in any Lambo again until hell freezes over.
Btw. there is a reason why the delivery of the Aventador has been postponed many times.
Volkswagen-CEO Winterkorn critizised the manufacturing quality many times and therefore told them to work on that before the first official delivery.
Does that not give you an idea?Comment

You can substitute Lambo/Audi for Toyota/Lexus,Ferrari/Fiat,Ford or Porsche and be correct. Every manufacturer has had recalls for quality issues. Boeing has had airplanes that have exploded in midair.Well, you can still debate on some of the crashes, I admit that. In the US most ferrari dealerships are about as much fun as going to the dentist. It's the price of admission.
As I said, over the years I have met hundreds of Lamborghini owners and not a single one of them have had any issues like you described. Your story is unique. You might not be as anonymous as you think you are.Comment

Yeah right... Lambo is so much a less pompous car.
