    A Dutch question?

    The Netherlands is the most tolerant country in the world. Where else can you smoke, dope in a coffee shop, drink gin, pick up a prostitute, have sex with a goat ( if you're into goats) and not go to jail for the experience.

    The Netherlands is also part of the EU and as thing contiinue to merge together do you think the rest of the EU will become more tolerant or do you think The Netherlands will need to tighten up it laws and become like Germany?

      Im from Holland and i think the Netherlands will have to tighten up their laws in the future a bit conerning the merging of EU countries, but i also think that some of the laws will be held as they are right now, because a lot of people will be pissed otherwise

          Belgium and the UK don't throw you in jail these days for smoking pot. It is not legal here by the way, but condoned.

              Hmmm... why do you compare it to Germany?

              In Germany it's legal to drink beer and smoke when you're 16. It's legal to drink hard liquor when you're 18. You can pick up a prostitute whenever you want, it's legal, only the procuration is kind of illegal. Nobody goes to jail for smoking pot, you just shouldn't have too much of it in your pocket. And who wants to fuck a goat anyway?

                  I think almost all Western Europe is more open than the good old USA but I know the Netherlands is the most tolerant. I picked Germany only because it was on my mind.

                  US go to jail for being caught with a joint in most states
                  Go to jail or at least into probation for drinking under age, 21 is the magic age
                  go to jail for prositution or soliciting
                  and goats are out completely
