    Suck It Cowboys

way to comeback Detroit. Was a great game to watch.

While it's nice to see the Cowboys lose (hated division rival), I wish I had something to be happy about.

As an Eagles fan for as long as I can remember, I'm used to them blowing games in the fourth quarter, and always coming up short. I remember as a kid, during the Randall Cunningham days, watching the games with my dad, and seeing the Eagles almost always find a way to blow a victory. So while it's nothing new, this year hurts even worse...

Each year I find new hope that the team may finally be successful. Each year I'm let down, but at least in recent years, it hasn't been completely depressing. But with all the big off-season moves, this was the last Eagles line-up I would have expecting to blow a 20 point lead in the fourth quarter. In fact, this is the third straight game the Eagles have blown a fourth quarter lead. The offense hasn't seemed as potent as it should be either.

We're only four games into the season, and I keep hoping that Philadelphia can turn it around. I want to believe they can, and I do believe they have the talent to do it. But somehow, I feel like I'm watching the old Eagles...the Eagles I grew up with, just on a grander scale.

But, at this point, I'm still reluctantly standing by my thread I made a few months ago that the Eagles will win the SuperBowl this year (I may backpeddle in a few weeks ). As frustrating as watching them is, I'll always root for the Eagles.

I thought the Eagles were Super Bowl contenders? I blame Vick and bad karma.

I blame an offense who acts like they've hardly taken any snaps together, and a defensive coordinator who doesn't know how to utilize the assests he has, mainly because he worked as an OFFENSIVE coordinator for years, and had to make the switch to defense with an extremely shortened off-season. And play-calling has plagued the Eagles for as long as I can remember (4th and 1 last week, Andy Reid? Really?)

But I'm still holding on to hope that they can work out the bugs in time to make an impact in the post season. (Though I admit, there's a part of me that's ready to consider this season an extended practice for the big names that'll still be here next season.)

They need to bench Romo or send him to Canada.

Ahead 24-0 would also have been a good time to rest/protect his broken rib and just sit on the lead. Not leave him in hurt and watch him self destruct with interceptions.
