That new Thing movie looks pretty decent -- as much as I hate reboots and remakes. Although, it's actually a prequel to the original, about the Norweigan base.
I have yet to see Human Centipede: First Sequence so I refuse to watch the trailer for the second. I heard nothing but insane things about these movies...
As much as Kevin Smith tells you Red State is a classic horror movie, don't believe it. It was FAR from it.

Agreed. It was nothing like a horror movie, but it was still a great movie. I paid $10 to watch it OnDemand before it hits theaters, and it was definitely worth it.

this is a pretty good site for new and upcoming horror films- http://www.upcominghorrormovies.com/
Here are a few they have listed-
Prometheus
The Thing
The Howling: Reborn
Dark Shadows
Dead Island
Resident Evil: Retribution
Tape 407
Chillerama
The Lords of Salem
John Dies at the End
Dream House
With the exception of the first film which was very good, all the others have pretty much sucked although that highway pile up scene in the 2nd one is pretty amazing.
So yes, the 5th one was pretty lame. The bridge scene is worth watching.

at least 2 or 3 i hope...Johnny Depp is playing Barnabus Collins in the film version of the huge 60's/70's gothic soap opera Dark Shadows, so that could be good. Tim Burton directing.
