I haven't checked out their prices in awhile... but I know if you are starting small, you can run tube ace on their virtual for a couple bucks a month and they will move you to dedicated once you need it. Check out nakedhosting.com or email sales@ same address.

I wouldn't take anybody else's advice other than Paul Markham. When it comes to being an expert at tubes and heck really traffic in general, he's the man you want to go to.

I am kind of in the same position as the OP, any idea what the differences or similarities are with something like Tube Ace vs. PhpMotion?

I am not familiar with phpmotion but I have tube ace / mechbunny / avs / mediascript and the first two do what I need and more.
