I just finished the Co-Op campaign and thought it was really good.
Took about 13 hours on normal mode. I was in no hurry and often took time to look around
at the scenery. There are two or three harder setting to play on so your game time will vary. I recommend a harder setting for anyone that wants a challenge.
One thing to note is the AI on your team is really aggressive and can almost do the deed on their own. Of course you have to progress to reach the next cut scene and there are a lot of them. That's OK because the story line is done quite well. After playing BLOPs TDM for so long it took me awhile to get back into a campaign with a story and cut scenes .
I only played the Horde mode on one map but there are several to choose from. It is really fun especially if you play with some friends ( up to four ). I liked how when you lose the round you can start from where you left off instead of starting from the beginning again like zombies in BLOPs.
I played a few rounds of multiplayer TDM and didn't care for it but that's my personal preference as I like the COD style games much better and didn't want to spend time learning to fight in third person.
Overall I'd say this is the best of the 3 Gears if only because it looks a notch better than the rest. Definitely worth playing.
I haven't even touched the single player yet. Just been playing the online and it's really good.
The dedicated servers are nice. Every game is consistent and without lag. If you are coming from COD, it takes some time to learn the gameplay, but it's a really good shooter.
I stopped playing COD a while back and started playing Homefront since they fixed the servers and the game worked flawlessly, now after GOW3, I don't think I can go back and play a shooter without dedicated servers.

Like i said I played on the normal mode so There was little to stop me from motoring on through. Played about 2 1/2 hours a night so It lasted about five nights of playing. I'll probably play through again on a harder setting. The horde mode and the multiplayer adds unlimited play time so you will get your money's worth out of it.
I haven't played Fallout 3 yet but I did give a copy to my brother for a present so I think I'll borrow it from him and give it a go. Right now I'm going to have my hands full with Forza 4 and MW3.
Been playin' the shit out of it.
Great game so far, less bullshit than #2... except these idiots with the double barrel shotgun are gettin fuckin' annoying.
my addiction to gow is well documented, I'm semi glad this ones multiplayer is not as fun as #2, not sure I wanna get hooked and lose 2 years of my life again
Still trying to shoot the guy on the train in the first one.
Let Dom go down... he's nothing but a pain in the ass in that battle... don't revive him.
Grab the nades, bultok pistol and torque bow in that last train car.
Drop a nade at his feet, shoot the torque once the bugs around him fuck off ...
Wash, rinse and repeat, then when he's hurting and you're low on torque, blast active boltok into his face, he'll die pretty fast.
I've beaten all 3 GOW's on insane
( not sure if that's good or bad, but I enjoyed it lol )
