      You can't just drag and drop your files where ever you want on your system? Oh. I forgot, they aren't your files and it's not your system. It all belongs to Apple.

          Make a folder on your external hard drive and move your iTunes files to it. Thereafter, assign the new folder as an iTunes library or change the iTunes media library setting to the folder on your hard drive.
