I believe La Senza is only Canada, i dont get out to seattle too often, thats about the only time i get into the victoria secret stores. Otherwise I use their website.

I think it has alot to do with running large tgp networks for as long as I have, you end up really know what content people want to see and what shots make for clickable photos. And I did pay attention to how my photographer used his lighting setup with our first model, I was always there directing. So it was only a matter of learning the camera.

Im using the L series lenses also, theyre great quality. 24-70mm 2.8L I bought and I rented a 70-200 2.8L for shooting this model. To see whether I needed that kind of length, I really did, I ended up using the 70-200 far more. So I will be picking one up eventually.Previous owner of SoloRevenue

Nah La Senza are all over mate... infact I believe they are a UK company... But it does vary in what styles they stock... Oh are they? Only reason i figured otherwise, I have asked a couple u.s models and they hadn't heard of it. Guess they just dont know what theyre talking about. hah
Yeah luckily im next to the border, i ship my stuff to the other side of the border and walk across and grab it, very handy.

I wouldn't call watching somebody take photos training but yes, it did help as i watched where he positioned the lighting when using 1,2 or 3 lights. However for this project, i didn't even end up using lights as i used natural lighting which i never did with autumn. Different type of light changes alot so i dont think i could have applied what i learned from him using strobes to me shooting outdoors (well maybe somewhat)
With Autumn, I mainly just directed positions and angles. Also handled wardrobe and hair. I never really asked about why or what he was doing because i would have felt guilty asking a photographer to teach me so i can replace him myself. And at the time, i had no intention of actually taking over so i wasn't really paying too much attention to learning
Ive been a very successful affiliate for a long time so i know exactly what i needed my images to look like to sell so it was only a matter of learning the controls of the camera, so i downloaded a ton of tutorials.
I think why alot of photographers aren't very well, they don't really know what theyre trying to achieve, they dont know what sells, they dont have an eye for the best angles and looks for a model. I dont think it really has to do with learning photography, i dont think that really is the hardest part. i think alot of people could learn pretty fast if they have an eye for good photos.
If i asked a photographer to give me the best photo out of a set of photos, they'd give me something and that wouldn't even be top 25 rated in the set. Some men just see a pretty girl and take photos of her and think they all look great.
