    How long do you need to bake oatmeal cookies?

    I ate half a bowl of oatmeal and decided to try to make cookies with the left overs.

    I put some sugar in it and some cinnamon.

    This will be a fun disaster!

              Since you posted at 3:45 this afternoon, I'd say they are done by now. If you can make it through the smoke in the kitchen, take them out!!!

              But seriously for cookies, 8 minutes is usually a good estimate to start ... although I've never tried baking leftover oatmeal so I can't say for sure. Keep us posted!

                              This was a learning experience.

                              I never knew that synthetic tire rubber was made from oatmeal until today.
