The first thing you've got to do is remove those images/movies from you're site and find the treand that you where just mentioning and e-mail it to the lawyer who wrote you.

He clearly mentioned that this is in fact a warning - so just remove the shit from you're site and give him a call.

Next, be sure to tell us who sold you those pic/movies so we can have a little fun with him to.
And finally, download www.kazaa.com and get those pic/movies on every computer that will swallow them.

No harm done? Everyone else that bought the content was harmed. You are putting people in the position to be sued and lose their money for the content. Its irresponsible NOT to say who you bought it from and what thread it was from. Sounds like that guy gave you a "refund" to shut you up.

Deal is that He took the photos and videos..... clear channel never said other wise.....

Problem arrose because they are claiming that they didn't allow any cameras to get in, and therefore, the camera must have been hidden. Which is clearly not the case. However, I'm not about to fight it.

After speaking at length to my lawyer, public nudity content is shakey ground period...... and i'm not about to take on a "big dog" to prove a point.

The guy that sold it to me didn't screw me. If i posted who it is, then everybody would want a refund, which is most likely not neccissary.

I do alot of advertising with our local clear channel radio station (the blaze) and I have a feeling that is the reason that I was targeted.

Thats pretty gay, just because it was a Clear Channel radio show get together they think they own the copyright to all the images taken at the event? Then why allow cameras? If you fight it you'd probably win, probably not worth the time though...

Here is some advice from someone who might have the answer.

First if he's selling it for an unbelievable price ask yourself is it too good to be true? Odds are it is a bummer.

Secondly are you buying it from someone with a reputation to protect, or some annon fucker who will appear under a different name in two weeks?

Thirdly, will you get all the 2257 and 2258 documentation, you are legally required under law to hold it. See my front page at the bottom for those who do not know the law.

Besides it protects you in so many other ways. Like, is the girl of the right age, did she agree to be shot and sold, is there a model release in her native language and English. Was it shot by the guy you are buying it from or an agent/broker/reseller?

For $75 and some hassle you learnt a lesson that would have cost $1,000 at a seminar.

Bet you won't be so eager to look only at the price in future?

funny thing is,this is the same guy who has ripped off other people on GFY for buying content..

I mean, it could be an honest mistake on the part of the photographer if he thought he was shooting content in a public place when in fact it was a 'closed set' or some shit like that. We just need to get the facts out there.

I've been a radio host since 1987 with my own show (before i went full time pimping) and had to deal with a lot of bullshit from their radio stations. But I honest to God don't think they got something to do with porn... but obviously I'm wrong. Shit... I'm gonna hold it against them.

If it's public nudity the photographer owns the copyright. Just because it happened outdoors does not mean it's "Public Domain"

Then you have the problem with the owner of the venue/party the photos/videos were taken at.

Plus the fact that you may be up against a company with a legal department trying to justify their existance.

This is why when you purchase content from someone you MUST have their model release. Now this guy is long gone and you have no idea who he is and can't find him. If you had a model release you could at the very least provide that to them and say "I bought this content". Instead you seem to have nothing.
