          Um, not like she said Popeye's , so forgive me, I didn't know about the race card being pulled when the thought of eating chicken came up. The local market just had breasts for $1.99. I filled my freezer.

The kid's mother had been traveling all over the state stating what had happened to her son was wrong. No dispute there. It was most likely wrong.

                                          However, she often stated in her travels that her son's favorite dinner was fried chicken with french fries and a large drink.

                                          That new swell of activism has left Trayvon’s mom, 46, criss-crossing the state talking about her slain son. She met with Miami Herald reporters and editors Thursday.

                                          He was six-three, 140 pounds, and eating everything in sight, including his favorite fried chicken with french fries and large drink. He suffered from the death of an older mentor four years ago, and on the day he died he wore a button in remembrance of him.

                                          “He has never been in trouble. He has never been arrested,” Fulton said. “He has never been in a fight that I know of.”
