They lost my company docs from a verified business account, asked them to figure it out and never did hear back lol

Ruth was very helpful, but the phone support was horrid. I do not typically knock companies online, but when they start randomly loosing our company docs i have had it.

Paypal doesn't require a passport for verification... does it?

If you receive more than $2500 in a year they freeze your account and ask you to identify yourself. Same happens when they catch you using PayPal for porn related payments, unless you're a pirate, then they'll let you get away with it :Oh crap

Erotic hardware (toys, DVDs) are no longer banned by PayPal by the way, online xxx DVD shops can now accept PayPal.

Oh, I see. I thought they just had verification with bank accounts and suchlike. It's still not a bad limit for a "fake" account (I don't mean your account is fake, I mean if someone wanted to create one), as it can still be spent online or transferred, just not withdrawn.

I think AFF pays out in Paypal, or used to. Unless I'm misrememberizing. And/or maybe other sponsors too. Not sure how and why that works though.

By nickname I mean for example Bill if your official name is William. So you register it to Bill Jones instead of William Jones. Would be nice if PayPal would tell you straight from the start that you have the names exactly as written in your passport.

Sorry, maybe I was a little harsh in my last post.. but at the end of the day, you cannot open a bank account using the name Bill if your given name is William, so what makes you think you should be able to get away with it with paypal, or any other institution that handles money? It's inconceivable. And, while I find paypal to have a ton of annoyances, I don't see this as being one of them, considering it should be common sense to use your given name when it comes to money...
