Weston was wearing a wingsuit, a skydiving suit with fabric extended below the arms to the body and between the legs to catch air allowing for horizontal travel when skydiving. Weston was to go over the bridge while fellow skydiver Jeb Corliss was to go under it. Miscalculating his distance from the bridge, Weston struck a railing while traveling an estimated 120 mph, killing him instantly and dismembering extremities. Drop 5 guys from an airplane miles away from their target.
Impossible to detect with radar or anything else.

I watched a television program about designing the suits a while ago and someone wearing one jumped from a plane and glided about 20 miles.

im pretty sure the crack is indeed in Switzerland and yes the video is real.

wing suits are one hell of a rush, but also a good way to die. they are doing it from planes more often now, so its easier to learn, but BASE wingsuiting is nuts!

good radar around very secure locations can sense a bird. no metal is needed to detect things flying, just a surface big enough to bounce off of.

Yes, and that means they'd show up at most as 5 birds...
I'd also expect a military version f the suit to be even harder to detect
