I have sunmitted my scanned Drivers License three times and keep getting rejected. First At 200ppi. Then at 300ppi then at 600ppi.

I got this after 200 ppi:

We kindly ask you to submit a higher quality scan/photo of your document.

Please make sure that the real margins of the document you submit are clearly visible (not touching the margins of the scan) and that all the information on the document is clearly readable.

You can try changing the settings of your scanner so the contrast between the document and the background is higher, making all the real margins and corners of the document clearly visible.

You can also try placing a colored paper over the back side of the document when scanning it.

Ok fair enough so I submitted one at 300 ppi and 600 ppi.

I get this after the latest submission at 600 ppi:

Due to the high luminosity of the scan your document does not reach our quality requirements.

We kindly ask you to submit a higher quality scan, and if that is not possible please submit a high quality photo.

Please check the examples regarding how the scan/photograph should look in Profile Settings >> Identity confirmation.

What is wrong with 600 ppi? High luminosity?

WHAT do I have to do? Will 1200 ppi be enough?

600 ppi is already a 2 meg file.

1200 ppi will prob be a 20 meg file.

There is nothing wrong with the 600 ppi scan. It is super clear and shows the edges.

Thanks. Appreciate it. There is no way the 600ppi scan could be forged unless the actual DL was stolen. It is super detailed.

I have a brand new (less than a year old) HP scanner and the lic is in real good shape, also only about a year old.

The file is 2 megs for a 600 ppi. I almost think some rep is goofing on me.

But I will submit a 10-20 Meg file at 1200 ppi or even above (50+ meg file?) if needed.

Some obvious tips when submitting docs are :

Make sure the document is in full frame - not cropped anywhere
Make sure the document is CLEAR - not blurry at all. No extra lighting blocking any detail.
Make sure it is in COLOR.

Keep in mind - it does not do us any good to reject an account. We want all of our accounts to be active.

Yeah I am not real impressed with this. I mean I wish I could show you the scan at 600ppi. It shows the borders and it shows the most minute detail.

It is centered. Not cropped. It is clear. It is color. No details blocked as far as I can tell. I will attach the 600ppi scan to my email.

The verification with Paxum has never been automated. Everything is checked by an actual person.

Chris, please lmk it is ok after you review it or lmk if still needs redoing. Then I dont have to think about this till tomorrow.

I certainly dont mind redoing one, I just couldnt see what the prob was.

The borders werent quite good without a colored piece of paper under it. I understand.

Will do. Just seen this so also UL to your email. It is about 6M with a 3" by 5" piece of paper behind it. I didnt want to cut the res down tho.

It seems file sizes over 10M time out when trying to UL to my Paxum acct. I have a very good ISP connection now but cant UL without timing out. I did UL a 600 dpi with about a 5M size successfully. But it will prob be rejected even tho you can see the very finest detail. I also used "extreme" sharpening and also checked (scan at higher depth) which I was not using before.

So I am getting some pretty good quality. I really dont understand how this could not be accepted.

I was told to use a dig camera and take a pic of the Driver License in my hand but I dont have a dig camera. Have a cell phone cam but cant find a cable to go to the computer that will fit.

What settings did you all use? I have a new HP scanner.

Also maybe I should try a super high res setting and then crop out the white so the file isnt so huge. Leaving just the drivers license.

I am trying 1200 dpi but that leaves a file over 10M which times out.

Scans take over 1/2 hour at 1200 dpi. I could actually go 10 times that res or more but then the size is huge.

I dont know. Doing a 1200 dpi now but it is taking forever to scan and prob wont UL without timing out anyhow. Altho I have a real fast and solid connection now.

Havent heard from Chris in a while. Prob all sleeping at Paxum now anyhow.

I cant believe I am the ONLY one this is happening to.

They talk aboput the edges. I dont know how to gwt the edges to show better than I am. By edges I assume they mean a sort of 3D affect where the license is raised and you can see the edges.

Maybe I will UL a scan of an old credit card here at 600 dpi and show you all what kind of quality I am submitting.

About as fine a detail as you can get.

Ok cropping out some of the white reduced the file to 1/4 size. About 2.5M, so maybe that will be accepted.

Maybe I needed to do that.

You can def see the edges now.

Should prob do it.

I can go 2400 or higher if nec. Whatever it takes.

Once I get accepted I will post here the exact settings I used so maybe someone else can avoid this.

They def want super high res WITHOUT super high file size (cause over 10M wont upload and IMMEDIATELY times out). You have to crop the white (but not the image) is the only way to achieve this.

Thanks, I tried that and it was rejected. It did not make the edges come through anymore.

I did not have my settings as high as poiss tho which was prob the problem.

You can see a freckle on a babies ass over 1200 dpi on a clear backgorund. Also brings out the borders totally. Using extreme sharpening as well.

I can go up to 19,200 dpi. That would take about 3 weeks to scan.

How did you get the account approved? Arent all docs supposed to be in place before money is transfered and the account is approved? I would think so.

i sold a domain name on gfy and he wanted to pay via paxum so i opened an account paid money in then i realised i could not get the money out
it was easy getting my driver licence approved all i did was put a peace of paper on the back of licence with my crap scanner i dont understand what problems paxum are having with you

Ill try that. Thanks good idea. I havnt tried white paper. They told me to use anything but white tho.

So I used green at 600 dpi and... fail.

Then I looked at my settings and set the settings way higher. I was at "medium" sharpness, I went "extreme".

I had "scan for depth" unchecked, so I checked that.

Then I went to 1200 dpi (or is it ppi? whatever) and then cropped out the white (but left some white, i did not crop into the image.

Thus I submitted a mighty fine scan. So that SHOULD be accepted. If not, I am currently doing a 2400. I have been scanning an hour now, almost done.

That fucker WILL be clear and you WILL see edges with extreme sharpening as well. Plus crop some white of course.

If that is not accepted than they dont want me I guess.

But i think they want me.

It is (seriously) just REALLY bad luck lately.

You all have read the things that have happened to me this month both in biz and out.

They dont even realize but forces are MAKING them reject me.

They are hypnotized. And dont know it.

So I completed the 2400 scan after 90 mins. It is 28.5 Megs and I dont have enuf memory to crop it.

For fucks sake.

I am gonna scan in a 1200 dpi old credit card to this thread just to show you boyz how clear a 1200 dpi is IF I dont get accepted Chris.

Cmon man 1200 is enuf.

You may be right. But if that's the case then the "tolerences" are set a lil too tight for me and Ill just have to stick with Payoneer and wires.

I mean if it is not accepted now at 1200 dpi on a natural background with max sharpness then there is something up.

I really want the card but.. that would be a lil rediculous.

What I REALLY want to know is how much fees are gonna be on my wire now that I skipped the correspondent bank. Sponsor had no probs skipping the csb and they do lots of wires so that helped.

But it may still go thru a csb. So I NEED this card.

My sponsor STILL has not been able to load Payoneer after 25 days. They are on bank #2 trying. They paid me for 8 months or more with Payoneer previously.

Fun fun fun lately.
