How important do you feel naming your images are for SEO?

It's worth it. google images will pick up on it and you'll get traffic from google image search. Alt tags on images will help with SEO also.

It's worth doing.

Go to http://images.google.com and look up any name of any model you like and you'll find those images.

If you don't want your pictures indexed, use numbers only. 1.jpg, 2.jpg, etc.

Naming your images is definitely worth it. I personally have a small (non-adult) website that I don't really advertise, just organic traffic, and probably half of my traffic comes in from Google image searches matching the keywords in my image names.

just make sure the adult filter is off....i was wondering why i dont see images from my sites

Since I have paysites I only do this on my free pages before the credit card cause bots can only go there anyways. I do title and alt tags and both are different but related to the pic. Another thing I do is everytime the page is opened the pics change to a new order and format. I heard this makes the bots think my page is constantly being updated. This might be overboard and not accomplish much but it's already written in the code so it's just automatic anyway.
