    What's the issue with .XXX domain?

    I read a post in XBIZ today about a UK company changing its brand to Anywhere.XX

    Leading ?cloud-porn? VoD site Strictly Anywhere announces rebrand to Anywhere.XXX

    Strictly Broadband Ltd, the London, UK company behind the adult VoD sites StrictlyBroadband.com and StrictlyAnywhere.com announce a re-brand of StrictlyAnywhere.com to Anywhere.XXX, and the official launch of the Anywhere.XXX affiliate programme.

    Anywhere.XXX is the world?s most advanced ?cloud porn? service, allowing any of the site?s thousands of full-length, full-screen movies to be rented from any device and viewed on any other. This allows the first genuine ?cloud? approach to adult video, allowing users to build their own cloud-based collection and access it from any device, any time.

    Now I'd heard most people opposing .XXX domain but I don't understand why is that? What damage will it do to your business if you have a .XXX domain?

      its a money grab scare tactic con situation. if you don't grab your .xxx versions others might, trademarks will be mass violated all at 200 dollars a pop. .com's which people have owned for 15-20 years work just fine and only cost 10 dollars.

            * .xxx = has no value.
            * ICM Registry has a long history of telling lies to the industry.
            * .xxx won't protect children.
            * .xxx won't help the industry.
            * .xxx could be blocked at an ISP or country-wide level. India already announced something like this.
            * The use of .xxx domains is subject to changing rules. So you could invest a lot of money in promoting a new .xxx site only to discover 2 years from now that only ICM approved processors can be used or that only certain types of content can be used or that only certain pricing schemes can be used or that you are not allowed to update your .xxx site whilst drinking coffee or...
