Practitioners claim that subjecting certain parts of the body to magnetostatic fields produced by permanent magnets has beneficial health effects. These claims are both physically and biologically implausible and no effects on health or healing have been established. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnet_therapy Another http://www.sillybeliefs.com/magnets.html Another http://askville.amazon.com/proved-Ma...estId=18999266 It really was worked out some time ago that it's just a scam to sell bad bracelets to people who are not very clever. That's probably the worst part. |
I've had both my Carpal Tunnels "done" years ago. Left and Right wrists.
The most common symptom is numbness in the fingers (not thumb) nor in the little finger. There is pain sometimes, but mainly numbness of the fingers. Surgery is the only cure for it. As for RSI, which I used to get, I use a very basic Logitech corded mouse when I work. I've tried all the whizzbang mouses, but the little Logitech works best for me. I also keep my wrist flat on the desktop when using the mouse. It's just a matter of training your wrist to lay flat. No mousepad or anything fancy. This way I can work 12 to 16 hours without wrist pain. :2 cents: |

All your other comments from your post were similar dribble, considering I didnt purchase some cheap tat metal wear, mine is a simple material strap that was much more safe to wear on building sites. The magnet relaxes the nervous system.. the carpel tunnel is a series of nerves, muscles & obviously the blood... The blood isnt relaxed you frigging moron... Seriously, you make life at GFY seem like a chore. |

this is more of the same but also from someone plagued with issues in the right wrist and elbow:
switch to a lefty mouse.. you will be just as fast on it after 2 weeks and your right wrist will feel a million times better get a new keyboard based on the touch, not all that other carpal tunnel crap. when i bought my last laptop i wasnt shopping by bells and whistles really. i shopped by how light a touch it takes to print the words. there really is a big difference in that with keyboards...check it out when you go shopping. |
hands
My hands have so much arthritis, my GF makes fun of them. They are crookeder than a West Virginia road. With my new Mac Air, I got a blue tooth head set and am getting Dragon Speaking. Goal is to cut down as much key strokes as possible. I also plan to write a couple of books and can speak a hell of a lot faster than I can type. Also with the blue tooth, I can walk and speak as opposed to sit and type, as I think I'm more creative that way.

Jesus, Gary. Pick a better fight to have with me. One where it isn't quite so easy for me to make it obvious you are very very very stupid. Sigh. |
