I saw Deftones, Pantera and White Zombie play a triple bill on their War of the Gargantuas tour in 96' or 97', still one of the best concerts i've ever been to. Deftones doesn't sound too good live but Pantera tore it up, Phil Anselmo knew how to get a crowd riled up. They opened up with Cowboys From Hell and the pit went insane, it looked like in the cartoons when the characters fight and all you see is a big cloud of dust with shit flying out of it. I MIGHT have jumped in if I wasn't a skinny little 14 year old kid at the time.

I would have loved to have seen that.

Another cool concert in the 90's was Rage Against the Machine and Wu-Tang because the crowd was so diverse and it brought together types of people that would have otherwise never so much as glanced at eachother. Only time I ever seen a bunch of black dudes from Camden and North Philly in a mosh pit.

Very cool. I wish I had gone to more concerts back then. I went to almost none.
