with all the respect, how this improve my security? this is not logical and useless. if the captcha will be added to page where you have to put your ccbill username, id and password, it will be logical as you can easily bruteforce the password if you know the two other things, but once you are on second page where are all the affiliates informations and where is captcha now, it is really useless ... but, hope it will helps something, keep up the good work and wish you best with your business!

I suspect that previous to using the captcha a trivial DoS attack might have been easier to carry out by simply signing up over and over again using various proxies and data to try to exhaust resources (such as available PIDs and the associated database). The captcha likely helps with this a bit.

surly you can add somthing to prevent signing up more than once.
ie
once you sign up and try to re-sign up it takes you back to the page that you have to enter your username/password. and it you do it 3 times in a row, it would automaticly block you, for say 24 hours or longer.Comment

I honestly have no clue what page you guys are talking about because I haven't seen a captcha there, but.....
I will say this: As the king of ruining people's lives, I know that 100+ failed preauths a day are a fairly powerful persuasion since it hits them right in the teeth. This silly captcha isn't going to do anything except piss people off. Anyone who can't afford the $2/k for decaptcher obviously isn't remotely serious.Comment
