Has anybody WRAPPED their ride?
I am looking for actual reviews from any GFYer's that have had their cars/trucks wrapped?
What are the caveats if any? How durable is it against stone chips etc .... color fade? I'm looking at 3M Euro Scotchprint 1080 series film... Matte Black with Carbon Fiber Accents for my Altima SE-R ... Thanks. FF |

I just picked up an A3 in March and was hell bent on doing a matte black wrap prior to getting it. But from all my research (I emailed every vinyl wrap place within 30 miles of denver) it sounds like harsh sun really does a number on it and they said it would only last 3 years. $3,000 for 3~ years of a wrap seemed a bit steep. So I ended up going with Audi's pearl effect coat instead.

Old friend of mine just got his BMW wrapped in matte white from http://www.premiergraph.com/ It was black and went with matte white 3M Wrap with white carbon roof, mirrors, and M-Aero lip. Said it starts at about $2k
He just recently got it done though, so not sure how well it stands up to the elements and what not. ![]()
