    Phoenix Forum Hotels

    Where to stay?
    The show hotel and the Courtyard are full and another "hotel" in the area appears to the be a not so good choice.

    Its the first time in Phoenix for me and I am thinking maybe Best Western Inn of Tempe?
    Unless someone wants to spoon at the Mission Palms. Juicy?

          I stayed at the best western at the airport last time I went. Free shuttle to and from the hotel, very cheap, worked out fine.

              I rented a car and stayed at the Four Points on Rural Road one year. Decnt enough place and I love having a car in Phoenix.

                  Urgh, if I don't get off the waiting list at the show hotel, I'm going to need to cab everywhere. Why didn't I get my license?

                      Put your name on a cancel list. Yes it is a risk, but every year after the frist, this is how I went. They called me one or 2 days before. One year it was 5pm of the day of checkin that people didn't show up.

                      There is always you can watch GFY for people saying they can not make it...

                          See if you can find anything on the light rail hotel wise, there is a stop right by the Mission Palms. Runs quite a bit.

                          Tempe is actually pretty easy to get around. They also offer free buses that go around the university area for free. Alli and I took it to get a pedicure last year and it worked out great.
