My first "job" was with a dairy farmer in Ontario back when I was eleven or twelve years old. Back then, a bale of hay (or straw in this case - hard to tell ) weighed about 90-100lbs. That bastage - who would have ended up being my father (daddy issue alert!) could easily haul four of them at a time.
As his runner, I would drag one bail at a time to feed the cattle - or - in the case of straw - I would clean their stalls. Very slowly.Comment
