I'm not really allowed to own guns here in Canada. I know I can get them by the bucketload if I fill out the right papers, but I'm not comfortable with them and there's too many rules and regulations.
Back in the day, my uncle used to drive around with four rifles arranged in a lovely gunrack mounted on the back window of his pickup truck. That was in Small Town, Ontario (ok, Campbellford...). I'm sure the pussy sniffing Liberals have changed the rules over the last twenty-thirty years, but he never had a problem.
In the city, dogs work just as well as a deterrent. The more dogs, the better.
Even though we're liberal socialist commies, we still have about 30 firearms per 100 people. What that means is that every single person outside of a major urban centre is armed to the fucking teeth.
