Strongbox will take care of the interface between the processor and Wordpress.

Of course there is first the question of whether or not members even need to be logged into Wordpress anyway. You could just put Wordpress in the members directory.

Been reading about Magic Members in other posts and am still not clear on if it can be used with Strongbox, or if you really don't need Strongbox if you have MM. Can anyone address this?

I'm still a little confused myself, but my understanding is they are two very different things. For convenience and features like sequential content drip, pay per post, custom post types, custom membership options and membership levels, etc.. I am under the impression that Magic Members is needed. You need Strongbox for better protection against hotlinkers, hackers, downloaders, password sharers, etc... So you'd ideally want both in your setup, and they should be able to work together? I don't know if anyone's using both yet. I'd love to know that answer.

Brujah, I was doing some more research here at GFY and found this thread where the owner of Strongbox (Raynor) says that his product does everything Magic Members does and you do not need both. It also sounds like the two will not work together. This all surprises me because there are features listed on the MM site that are not listed on the Strongbox site so I don't see how they are comparable. I might have to ask Raynor for more info about this.
