Been in mainstream IM for years.. thinking about a comeback
When I first registered here I didn't know anything... web development, SEO, making money online, etc.. My first sites were pretty crappy and although they taught me a lot, all ultimately evaporated into thin air as I moved on to other things.
I didn't stop learning web dev though. Nowadays I've got several big monthly clients and my internet income is finally approaching 5 digits a month. I've learned a lot in the field of project management as well, it has helped immensely. SO... with all this new knowledge I'm wondering if making a comeback to the adult industry is worth it. I've got a few ideas in mind, thinking about promoting cam sites seeing how that goes. I'm wondering what the state of the industry is, what kind of ratios people are getting nowadays, etc. I'm looking to expand my portfolio and ultimately bring in an additional 5k/month by initiating an 8-12 month project... hmm am I crazy? Anyone else around here ever make an awesome comeback? oh yeah and I never did get my friggen GFY shirt, although I moved from that apartment years ago, maybe it ended up arriving eventually and offending someone.. lol.

If you're a proficient Internet Marketer, understand the benefits of high quality content, have a grip for driving conversions, understand the needs of your visitors and be able to cater to them then it really doesn't matter whether you promote mainstream or adult.
When you consider that 90% of adult affiliates turn out crap, if you can beat that 90% then you will make money - no problem at all. |
