Constituent (politics), an individual voter within an electoral constituency

He meant you can't film the people in the crowd... Whether he misinterpredited his superior officer or not is hard to say..

A courthouse is considered a public building... try to whip out a cell phone during a trial... see how that works out for you.

I argued about this kind of thing in another thread. People will say again, in this thread, that it's no big deal, this doesn't constitute a police state, blah blah blah. But, the reality is, every single instance of incidents like this and similar brings us one step closer to a police state.

People will say, "pick your battles", and that, "this is too small of an incident to matter." I could not disagree more, these incidents are the stepping stones to larger, and broader, and stricter controls by our government.

Act now, speak out now, because you won't be able to for much longer!

And sadly he would have been wrong. I believe that the US supreme court ( if not state supreme courts ) ruled that if you are in a public place at a public event, then you forfeit the reasonable right to privacy.

That means they can be filmed.

Jackbooted thugs, all of them. :D

This is why the public must arm themselves to the teeth, and stockpile enough ammo to level a building.
