The one thing I have always wondered about Google was that the few mainstream sites I ever had Adsense on never got much international traffic - only Australian (where I am from). We promote products offered through most major affiliate networks and a few smaller ones. We don't actually go to the back ends of any of them, we've had tools made for us to find products easily from our desktops while we use other tools like Market Samurai for keyword research. However even Market Samurai let's you find products in some affiliate marketplaces without logging into them.
If you're going to be getting real serious about affiliate marketing, hire a coder to build a custom solution that lets you grab and analyze products from all the marketplaces and present it to you in one desktop app. It makes the whole process alot easier and you can make scientific decisions about what to promote.Comment

Hopefully I can create a mainstream site that is successful as some of my best adult sites and then replicate that via some sort of automation like you mention. I've never had any particularly successful mainstream sites compared to adult which has always put me off going into big time. I want to change that this time, maybe get back into PPC again too.
