Don't care what you say, this has been planned for a minute now (since the 60's and 70's) but now you see it in action. The rich are finally going through with their plan to get rid of the middle class American. In a few years there will either be just the working class poor and the rich OR a revolution.

I personally don't believe there is an economy crisis, recession, or problem. It's all made up to cause confusion and hysteria. Gas should not be this damn high, cable, electricity etc, should not be this damn high. Medical should be readily available to anybody. Yada yada yada. It's just the rich getting richer while the poor get poorer...

Unless Americans stand up against this capitalism this will take place very soon.

Companies need a middle class if they are to continue to make profit. If there is no middle class and there are just a ton of poor people and a few rich people there is nobody left to buy all the stuff that companies sell to make them rich. Poor people don't buy new cars and big screen TVs. They don't take vacations to Mexico or buy computers and Ipods and designer jeans and $100 tennis shoes and on and on and on.

The middle class is in trouble right now because of the easy availability of credit and their desire to live a lifestyle beyond their means have many middle class people on verge of bankruptcy, but there will always be a middle class in this country it is in the big companies best interest to keep them around.

appreciate this response, however there can be just a rich and a poor. They'll just make it so that you spend all your little dollars on what they tell you. The rich doesn't need a middle class to stay rich.

I disagree. If a person makes enough money to live a typical middle class life they will have a decent amount of money to spend on extra stuff. Those items are what makes companies rich. If there were only very poor people, even if they were told what to buy, their buying power is greatly limited.

If a person makes 50K per year they have a hell of a lot more buying power than someone who makes 15K per year. At 15K per year food and clothing companies will still make bank, but poor people don't buy new $25,000 cars. They don't by Iphones or big screen TVs. They don't take nice vacations. They will spend, but they only have enough to spend on the bare necessities and there is only so much credit that they can get to finance some of the things that they can't afford where someone making 50K has access to a lot more credit to buy a bigger house, a bigger car and all kinds of stuff.
