It's been about a year since I have submitted any galleries at The Hun so I was wondering how submissions are going over there? Last submission I got 3 sales which was plenty worth it for only spending 30 minutes creating the gallery, I just submitted 2 galleries a week ago and waiting for them to be reviewed. Just wondering if it's still worth it.

Hun still takes hand submissions? I assumed all tgps went to all paid galleries a long time ago. I stopped doing galleries many years ago for that reason, but back in the day when I got listed at the hun I used to do at least 10-15 sales each time. They would only list about one out of every five submissions of mine, and they were good galleries.Comment

I get anywhere from 0 to 5 sales for each gallery posted in the yellow pages and estimate that about 2 of every 3 submissions of mine make the yellow pages and 1 of 3 in the overflow. Something goes live on one or the other every week or so.

Everything is way down...
I had a gallery on theHun back in 2006 and it made something like:
day 1 - 22 sales (server killing traffic)
day 2 - 7 sales
day 3 - 4 sales
day 4 - 2 sales
Made a very similar gallery and submitted it earlier this year:
day 1 - 0 sales (18,000 views for the entire day?)
day 2 - 1 sale (maybe 7,000 views)
day infinity - nothing....Comment

I've got galleries going up there every couple of weeks or so...Last one was on 8-20
Looking at analytics right now for that one: 67,038 views for the first day, 43.851 for the second day. 22 sales over the two days.

Best thing is just a simple picture gallery. Make sure that each thumb is linked to the .jpg , not an html page.
Don't put ANY fancy coding or scripts in. Just keep it very, very simple with a couple of text links and banners.-Robbie

That's a complete joke.
Bandwidth is dirt cheap. I have two kick ass boxes and 100 MB per second package for under a grand. I could run 3 or 4 picture galleries every day on The Hun and it wouldn't even be a blip on the screen.
One trailer on CM's tour burns more bandwidth in a day.
No...this ain't 1998. Bandwidth isn't even a consideration at all. The money you make off sales far outweighs that.-Robbie

I don't know anybody like that. I would say that those people wouldn't be part of a serious business discussion anyway. Bandwidth and server costs are so cheap now that it just doesn't make much financial sense for a person to do that.
And if they did...then I would say that they don't have any business trying to get traffic of any amount anyway.-Robbie

Uhm even if you paid $0.25/gig at the rate of 60gb used per gallery at the hun...you would still make a profit off of just 1 $30 sale. I've actually been putting up the pics I took with my cellphone for her blog at http://theclaudiamarieblog.com to make my most recent galleries on the hun. So instead of using my "fancy" pics from the members area taken with my Canon and strobes...I'm using just plain old cellphone cam pics to make the galleries that are getting the best sales!

I had a gallery approved this month.... image gallery that burned through 32 gigs of bandwidth in 4 days and not one sale.

the hun rocks. , takes 1 month to get listed.. one of the only sites I bother submitting in this current adult business model.. there are about 5-7 sites only that are worth your time submitting right now.. and thehun is one of them..
it sends sales..
not like tube sites, where you can submit to 100, waste 1 full day and get 0 sales..
tubes sites send 0 sales.
thehun sends between 2 and 5 sales per gallery.. you can even get sales from the archives, after months of being listed, so don't worry if you dont get a sale in those 3-4 days they list you...
the most sales I got in thehun tho, was in year 2005, with 22 sales with one gallery.. always talking about free listings of course.
but getting even 1 sale in today's adult business with a free listing, is more than AMAZING as Far As we Are all concerned...
oh, and about niches. I promote a variety of niche paysites.. yes, paysites... I AVOID webcams or dating, they do not convert.. or maybe im missing something, but tried to make webcams+dating work for almost 2 years with no luck at all, sent plenty of traffic, talking about millions of uniques and their shitty ratio of all those progs just bothered me.. anyway im always open if some programs cares to explain exactly how the hell to convert cams... and I will join and send the traffic.Last edited by Argos88; 08-30-2011, 08:49 PM.Comment

Yeah cams do not convert for me either, I had them on a ton of blogs and didn't make shit from them. I appreciate the info on the hun! Are there any more sites worth submitting galleries to? I'm a newbie when it comes to galleries, mostly just do blogs but I figure in between posting to my blogs I could make a gallery or two.Comment

Well, I got 1 sale being listed on the hun so far which I'm fine with, that's $35 for just making a quick gallery so I can't complain! My blog also received a good amount of traffic and I'm going to try some different sponsors out and see which one works best.Comment
