Consider this a bump if nothing else.

But if I had a solo model blog with 5K a day in traffic I wouldn't be selling it. It would be a cash gold mine.

Not everybody monetizes websites in the same way. Its value to an affiliate as opposed to somebody who owns paysites, is much different. If a program buys an affiliate site, they see the full sale, not 50/50 cut.

Then theres the fact that one person might be able to double the traffic. Which would make it worth double as much

Or maybe that person doesn't have the time to grow it to its potential. Or knowhow

Theres alot of reasons to sell.

If something makes 1k a month, selling it for 10-15k would interest alot of people. Especially if its declining because you have too many projects on your hands.

Also, I know alot of 5k a day sites that do not make much. Depends where the traffic comes from.

I recently bought a site that dropped down to 7k a day for $1750 because it was only making 200 a month

Another scenario to consider, lets say you want out of tgps and want to put money where your profit margin is much higher. You could either wait 10 months for your site to bring in 10k or you could sell it for 15k, have it right away and put it towards a brand new paysite that makes you 5k a month. Thats what i did.

If you have better ways to make your money, selling your existing sites and putting them towards your more profitable projects is usually the good route to go.

Or maybe they want a down payment on a house? Maybe they found a good deal on a place. Maybe its 25k below value.

Maybe they found a deal on another adult website, and want to buy it before its sold. Its better than the one they have.

Theres alot of reasons why a large chunk of money is better than getting a bit over a length of time.
